(re)Registration for Nations VT2011 – update

11 Jan

Spring semester registration is open

The links are not in English yet, but it seems to work in Google translate – and when you finally get to the sign-up page, you can choose to proceed in English.

As far as we understand, if you’re registering for the first time you need a 10-digit personnummer (if you’ve already gotten one from the tax office) or “LU person number” (like the real personnummer, it’s made up of your birth date, but it then has a capital letter with 3 numbers at the end – it should be in one of the papers you received at the check-in?) plus your application code (LU- plus 5 numbers: if you click on the little question mark it shows you where to look for it on your studera.nu printout if you’re a Master’s student – not sure for exchange students?).

If you’re a returning student, you may have already received a bill from your nation in the mail. If you wish to stay in the same nation, you just pay that. If you wish to change nations, we’re told you should visit the nation you want to change to, and they’ll fix you up with a bill – thanks to Helsingkrona Nation and Kuratorskollegiet for the clarification! 🙂  If you want to change something about your account (i.e. a new address?) the login information should be on your bill from last term. If in doubt or facing problems, contact your/a nation or Studentlund!

As we find out more, we will share the info – good luck figuring it all out! 🙂
