Skånska Dagbladet reports that LU has implemented a separate admissions test for applicants with foreign credentials, who, following a set of new admission rules at the national level, were immediately disadvantaged when trying to snag a study spot.

The university says it wishes to rectify an unfair situation, and estimates that so far approximately 75 students that had been automatically rejected in the normal admission processed were subsequently admitted following the individual assessments.
