Registration to unions/nations/AF – and getting a corridor room?

15 Jul

Studenlund registration has been launched

Until this year, membership in a union and a nation was mandatory (except for graduate students or exchange students, for example). Things have changed, and The Dynamo will do its best to update international students on what it means for them and their time in Lund.

Finding accomodation in Lund is not easy, and all options deserve consideration.

But as this is summer, information is slower to get through! As far as we understand, getting accomodation through AF Bostäder or one of the nations will be allowed for members only, like most nation/AF activities (that was also the rule before, it’s just that before most everyone had to be a member so this was not a big issue).

So if you wish to get an AF or nation room or apartment, you’ll need to register here. The starter page is not yet in English, so a suggestion if your Swedish is limited is to follow along in another Google translated page, especially since you have to agree to some terms and conditions.

There seem to be AF corridor rooms currently free for the taking (many just now that will be bookable until July 15 at midnight, GMT +1:00). This is a first come, first serve queue, and you need to register here – you can even do that first to see what your chances are, but if you are on top of the list you’ll have to be able to prove you’re an AF member.

The system is not the easiest to navigate or the most user friendly – good luck, and you can always e-mail us at if you have comments or questions. We’re not experts, but we’ll help if we can! 🙂

It seems those just needing to renew their membership can do it here?
