Following much speculation as to what final numbers might be, Lunds Universitet has released the fees it plans to charge foreign students (non-EU/EEA, or Swiss) after changes to the Swedish university system come into force, starting from the Autum 2011 term.

Whereas university education has remained free of charge for all accepted students up to August 2011, non-European students will have to pay tuition fees from then on.

Scholarships will be offered to high-performing students or students from certain countries.

You can find the official press release in English here on the LU website.
